DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) — A potentially alarming discovery at Ellsworth Park on Saturday morning was quickly resolved after authorities confirmed that a bone found by a clean-up crew was not human.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on September 20, Danville Police officers were dispatched to Ellsworth Park following a report from a volunteer crew that had come across what appeared to be human remains. Officers responded promptly, securing the area.
