CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – In order to complete construction at Gies Memorial Stadium, Piros Signs will close one westbound lane of Kirby Avenue between First Street and Fourth Street.  The closure will begin on Monday, March 9, and will end on Saturday, March 21, 2026, weather permitting. During the closure, westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
