CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — A section of Paula Drive will be temporarily closed next week to allow for water main installation work.
A&R Services and Illinois American Water will close Paula Drive between Powers Lane and McKinley Avenue beginning Monday, April 13. The road is expected to reopen Friday, April 17, weather permitting. An image of the affected area can be seen below.
Through traffic will not be permitted during the closure, though access to all local properties will be maintained. Drivers are asked to pay attention to traffic control devices and use alternate routes.
