URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – The Urbana City Clerk‘s office has released consolidated election packets for the 2025 elections. The packets are available both online and for in-person pick-up at the City Clerk’s office. Whether a candidate is running for Mayor, City Clerk, Alderman, or Township Supervisor, all the information needed for the election process can be easily accessed.

Independent Candidate and New Political Party Election Packets: If a candidate is an independent candidate or looking to establish a new political party, election packets are also available online at Urbana City Clerk’s Office. They are also available at the Urbana City Clerk’s Office located at 400 S. Vine Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Important Dates and Ward Boundaries: The abbreviated calendar for both the 2025 consolidated primary election and the consolidated election is available online at IML 2025 Election Key Dates. The redistricted City Council ward boundaries have been updated. You can view the new ward map at Urbana Ward Map.

Political Parties Information: For the 2025 Consolidated Election, only the Democratic Party and the Republican Party qualify as established political parties per the Illinois Election Code (10 ILCS 5/10-2).
