URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – The Cunningham Township Board Regular Meeting, the Cunningham Township Board Public Hearing, and the Urbana City Council Regular Meeting will all happen on Monday, September 16, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the city council chambers.

The meetings will occur in the following order:

  1. Cunningham Township Board Public Hearing
  2. Cunningham Township Board Regular Meeting
  3. Urbana City Council Regular Meeting

Among the items discussed in the Urbana City Council meeting, is the Mayoral Proclamation for Bike to Work Day, a resolution approving a collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFL-CIO), a resolution approving an increase in the number of liquor licenses in the Class R&T-1 Designation for Cochran & Heller INC d/b/a Black Dog Smoke & Ale House, and a resolution authorizing an interfund loan from the retained risk fund to the motor fuel tax fund.

The Cunningham Township public will receive public input on the revised FY 2023–2024 Annual Budget and the draft of the FY2024-2025 Budget. Public input can be emailed to supervisor@cunninghamtownship.org.
