CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Champaign Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon, leaving at least one person injured.
Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Cynthia Drive at 3:59 p.m. on Jan. 9. Police were canvassing the area for video surveillance and physical evidence related to the incident.
The condition of the victim is currently unknown, and no additional details about the person’s identity have been released. Police also stated that they do not have any suspect information at this time.
