Illinois minimum wage set to increase from $14 to $15 per hour in January

The State of Illinois recently announced the minimum wage increase from the initial $14 per hour to $15. The minimum wage for tipped workers will increase to $9 per hour and workers under 18 working fewer than 650 hours per year will be increased to $13 per hour.
