Krannert Center unveils 2025-26 season with ELLNORA Guitar Festival

The Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is set to launch its highly anticipated 2025-26 season with the return of ELLNORA: The Guitar Festival, running September 4–6. This year marks the 11th iteration of the biennial celebration of guitar artistry, held 20 years after the festival’s debut.

Pet(s) of the Week: This week, two dogs went to their forever homes

This morning, Whiskey, or gentle giant, topping off at 102 pounds, went home to his dad, mom, and 1 1/2-year-old human sister. He had nothing but love for everyone at the radio center, and you can tell he loves his new dad so much. Luna also went home today – but we didn’t have to look far for her new mom. She will be living her best life with Illini Media Group’s VP/General Manager, Jamie Ulrey.

Champaign City Council cancels June 3 meeting, schedules special session for June 10

The City Council meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 has been officially cancelled, according to a notice released by the City of Champaign. In its place, a Special Regular Meeting and Post Council Study Session has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m.
