City of Urbana kicks off the third annual Trees and Lights from Around the World 

TLAW will kick off with a Mayoral ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, December 7 at noon at the northeast corner of Main and Race Street. The even will continue throughout the holiday season to celebrate Urbana’s rich culture and diversity as well as promoting small businesses.

Champaign Police provide their winter driving tips for dangerous road weather

The CPD encourages drivers to slow down and take their time when moving throughout the Champaign. The slippery conditions make the braking time necessary to stop a vehicle significantly increased. So far, over 20 vehicle crashes have been reported in Champaign and few have even resulted in transport to area hospitals and tows.
