CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – A commercial estate brokerage firm, has announced the sale of Champaign Station, a six-suite retail strip center located in Champaign. The property, which sold for $5.1 million, was fully leased to a mix of e-commerce-resistant restaurant and service-oriented tenants.

The property, situated on 3.31 acres at 507 W. Town Center Boulevard, was built in 2007 and spans 21,152 square feet. It is anchored by Menards and is near to the Market Place Shopping Center.

The buyer, a private equity group based in North Carolina, was drawn to the stabilized nature of the deal and the strong real estate fundamentals of the multi-tenant retail market in a college town.
