CHATHAM, IL (Chambana Today) – A 44-year-old woman from Chatham, Illinois, has been identified as the driver involved in a fatal crash at an after-school program on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred at the YNOT Outdoors Summer Camp in the 300-block of Breckenridge Road. The vehicle struck multiple individuals outside the building before crashing through the structure and exiting through the opposite wall.

Four victims, ranging in age from 4 to 18, were killed, and at least six others were injured, with one requiring airlift to a hospital. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was uninjured and taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Authorities have not yet determined whether the crash was intentional. The Illinois State Police and Chatham Police Department are actively investigating the incident.
