SAVOY, IL (Chambana Today) – The 36th annual Kendall Gill Golf Outing was held this past weekend, and brought in $52,251 in total proceeds towards the Cunningham Children’s Home in Urbana to benefit 977 youth and families served each year.
The event saw several familiar faces this year, with several repeat attendees competing against 13 new four-person teams.
“I’m wondering how long we can keep this going because it’s 36 years, but you don’t see any fizzle out,” Kendall Gill said. “It’s always packed. We always fill the foursomes. And so, I’m just glad that everybody continues to support.”
A press release from Cunningham Children’s Home shared that sponsors have made a difference in securing a greater portion of every registration and sponsorship goes straight to programs that will change the lives of children. Wespath Institutional Investments, Kirby Wealth Management Group, and Evergreen Roadworks were among the sponsors of this year’s event.
Martin One Source, Jimmy John’s, Koerner Distribution, Inc., CRS Hospitality, and Walmart of Savoy also helped provide as in-kind sponsors to keep expenses low, contributing more than $7,500.
