Ebertfest – April 17-20 Roger Ebert’s Film Festival celebrates films that didn’t receive the recognition they deserved during their original runs. This annual festival gives films and filmmakers a well-deserved second look in the beautiful Virginia Theatre. Illinois Race Weekend – April 25-27 The City of Champaign is eager to welcome thousands of race participants and fans into our community for the upcoming Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend April 25-27. This year the full marathon is back – with a new course through Savoy! A great source of community pride, Illinois Race Weekend also has a significant impact on the local economy with visitors staying in area hotels, dining at local restaurants, and supporting our community’s other small businesses. Residents are encouraged to get out and cheer on the runners or volunteer to help ensure a safe and fun experience for race participants. Be sure to check out the new course and how it could impact motorists and residents.
