CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Eastern Illinois Parrot Head Club invites the community to kick back and “party with a purpose” at Back to the Prairibbean ’25, a tropical-themed fundraiser supporting DSC (Developmental Services Center). The event takes place on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Riggs Beer Company in Urbana.
This summer celebration features live music from The Boat Drunks, a 50/50 raffle, themed baskets, and plenty of island-inspired fun. Admission is $10 at the gate or available in advance at eiphc.org.
Attendees can also enjoy craft beer from Riggs and a tasty lineup of local food trucks including La Paloma, Smith Burger, Watson’s Chicken, and The Main Scoop ice cream truck.
Proceeds benefit DSC, a local nonprofit committed to helping children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives.
