CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Boneyard Arts Festival, an annual celebration of local creativity, will take place across Champaign County from April 4-6. This unique, countywide event will feature the work of hundreds of local artists in both traditional venues like galleries and museums, and non-traditional spots like bars, libraries, and retail stores.
Festival-goers will enjoy a wide range of art forms, from sculpture and photography to music, dance, and poetry. One of the highlights includes Sweet 105 in Champaign, where ten local artists will collaborate on a variety of media, including aerosol art, sculpture, and jewelry. At The Orpheum, the Craft League Collab will feature over 30 artists working together to create truly unique pieces.
Other venues include the Lincoln Building, which will host two exhibitions, and PostMark Urbana, which will feature over 20 venues with art shows, music, and even a flash mob dance. The Champaign County Forest Preserve District will also participate, with photography and astrophotography exhibits displayed at various preserves.
