GIBSON CITY, IL (Chambana Today) – A native of Central Illinois, Bella Rose, has been crowned United States of America’s (USOA) Miss 2024.

Bella Rose, the recently crowned USOA Miss 2024, is more than just a pageant winner – she is a college student and a dedicated community volunteer. As she continues to fulfill her duties as the titleholder, Bella remains committed to helping and inspiring others. Currently a double major at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, she credits her central Illinois roots for her work ethic.

“Growing up in such a small town taught me a lot about community and hard work, and being able to take that work ethic that I’ve cultivated in central Illinois with communities and bring it to a big city was really my end goal.”

Bella Rose was raised in Gibson City from the time she was 14 months old. Bella attended GCMS (Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley) schools, graduating in 2021. Her achievements came early – she was an honor roll student and a board member of the local food pantry. She began her volunteer efforts in food drives started when she was only eight years old, showcasing her early commitment to service.

Following her crowning as USOA‘s Miss 2024, Bella returned to Nevada, where she is entering her senior year. She returned to Gibson City this summer, primarily to spend time with her mother, but to also give back to the community that made her who she is today. She took the opportunity to volunteer at her home food pantry, continuing her long-standing tradition of community service.

One of Bella’s key responsibilities as the national titleholder is to inspire other women by sharing the mission and values of the USOA Pageants. “I’ve decided I want to split my year pretty evenly between being involved in communities and helping out as many people as I can and getting involved and also recruiting new contestants through media.”

She hopes to encourage women to not give up on their hopes and dream, while giving back to the communities in which they live, go to school, and work.
