CHAMPAIGN, IL (CHAMBANA TODAY)-We’re looking for an outgoing, people-oriented, journalist for our reporter role at ChambanaToday. The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience in Journalism, Communication, or related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with multimedia storytelling (photo, video, ect.) is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn and grow through constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Peolple-focused and community-oriented.
  • Familiarity with the Champaign-Urbana community and surrounding areas.
  • Teamwork skills for effective work in a collaborative, supportive environment.
  • Reliable transportation.
