CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Bus service is limited for Champaign Unit 4 school kids today. District officials sent an email to parents stating that due to the excessive heat warning, the schools will offer yellow bus service only to special education students today, since those buses have air conditioning. If parents are able to pick up and drop off their children, they are asking them to do so.
District officials say there will be no outside activities or athletic practices due to excessive heat. Children are asked to bring refillable water bottles to stay hydrated.
