CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The 37th annual Champaign County Pheasants Forever fundraising banquet will be held on Friday, August 22, at the Holiday Inn in Champaign. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m., followed by auctions and raffles to support local conservation efforts.
The event will feature auctions and drawings for sporting equipment, wildlife art, and a variety of items appealing to hunters, families, and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
Open to Pheasants Forever members and guests, the banquet offers memberships for $45 at the door, and meal tickets for $25. Proceeds support wildlife habitat development and conservation education efforts across Champaign County.
Champaign County Pheasants Forever assists local landowners with designing habitat projects, supplying seed, and lending specialized planting equipment. The group also provides controlled burning services to preserve prairie environments by preventing the spread of woody plants.
Event proceeds will directly fund habitat restoration and youth conservation education programs in the coming year.
