CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The Champaign County Radio Control Club celebrated a major milestone at its October meeting, presenting graduation certificates to 11 new students from the 2025 Flight Training Program. This year’s program spans an impressive age range — from 7 to 69 — showcasing the club’s broad appeal across generations.
With 30 graduates already certified and 7 more students still in training, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the club’s most successful seasons to date. Highlighting this wide age range, the club proudly featured its youngest and oldest active members — 80 years apart — in a recent photo, capturing the spirit of lifelong learning and community.
The Champaign County Radio Control Club is a chartered member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and continues to promote education, skill-building, and fun in the world of model aviation.
