URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – The City of Urbana has announced the appointment of Darius White as its new City Administrator, marking a new chapter in the city’s leadership. White’s selection follows a comprehensive interview process involving both staff and city council members. He will officially assume his duties on August 4.
White brings extensive experience in public service, economic development, and community engagement. He most recently served as the Senior Regional Economic Development Manager for the East Central Region at the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, where he led initiatives focused on supporting underserved communities.
