Illinois State Police alerted of a lane closure due to a crash on Interstate 57 on Thursday at 4:38 p.m. Due to a property damage crash in the median on Interstate 57 North at Milepost 245, the left lane will be blocked to remove the vehicles. This will cause a backup on I-57 North. Please seek an alternate route and use caution if approaching this area.
At 5:20 p.m., ISP shared that all lanes were reopened.
