DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) – Early Sunday morning, May 18, a Danville Police Officer stopped a vehicle near Voorhees and Martin Streets for an equipment violation. The driver, 25-year-old Armontae Swarn, was found to have a suspended license. Following his arrest, officers discovered a loaded firearm and illegal narcotics inside the vehicle.
Swarn was booked on multiple charges including Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Driving While License Suspended. He was taken to the Vermilion County Public Safety Building.
