DANVILLE, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Danville Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy is now accepting applications.
The adult program allows members of the Danville community to learn not just how the police department operates, but also how they collaborate with county, state, and federal agencies to keep the community safe.
The academy is designed to strengthen the relationship between the police department and the community through education, transparency, and positive interaction. There is no fee to attend.
