CHAMPAIGN, IL (CHAMBANA TODAY)- On April 17, 2024,  Erin Rogers peacefully passed away after bravely battling a rare form of cancer for 18 months. Throughout her journey, Erin demonstrated unwavering faith and resilience, undergoing numerous treatments and surgeries with the steadfast support of her husband, Steve, and their three young children, aged 5, 3, and 2. In the wake of Erin’s heartbreaking loss, Stephen Rogers, Steve’s cousin, has taken the initiative to organize a fundraiser on AngeLink to alleviate the financial burden of extensive medical and funeral expenses, as well as support the future educational needs of the couple’s children. The outpouring of community support has already raised over $28,000, underscoring the impact of collective compassion and solidarity during times of grief.
