CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Champaign County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) mourns one of their own, tragically killed while in an off-duty vehicle crash on Monday, June 3.

Visitation for CCSO Correctional Officer Jennie Ashley will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home located at 1110 N. Fourth Street in Effingham. A First Responder walk-thru will be held at 1 p.m.. Funeral services will follow immediately after the visitation, and burial will be at Wheeler Cemetery on E. 1300 Ave. in Wheeler.

First responders attending the services have been asked by CCSO asked to wear Class A uniforms, if possible, or the uniform of the day.
