Homicide investigation underway in Champaign Township

CHAMPAIGN TOWNSHIP (Chambana Today) – On Tuesday, December 10 at approximately 8:54 p.m., Champaign County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Dobbins Drive following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered one person who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Authorities have not released further details, but the investigation remains active.
