MARSHALL, IL (Chambana Today) – Horizon Health is expanding access to local healthcare by now offering family medicine services at its Marshall Clinic, located at 1000 North 2nd Street. The new service is available by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Family medicine provides general healthcare for all ages, focusing on long-term wellness and acute care for illnesses and injuries. Patients can also receive on-site point-of-care testing, including rapid strep and flu tests, as well as school and sports physicals.
Marshall native Mallory Simonton, a family nurse practitioner, now leads the new family medicine service. She has been part of Horizon Health since 2018, previously serving at EZ Care.
“I’m excited to offer care in the community I live in and love,” Simonton said.
The EZ Care clinic will continue operating in the same building, now staffed by nurse practitioners Lori Carpenter and Natasha Morgan, also Marshall natives. EZ Care is open seven days a week for walk-in treatment of non-emergency conditions.
