CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Season tickets for the 2025 Illinois football season go on sale to the general public this Thursday at 9 a.m.
Following the Illini ERA reseating process, fewer than 800 sideline season tickets remain available. Tickets along the east and west sidelines start at just $199. Illinois Athletics expects this final batch of inventory to sell out quickly, as momentum continues to surge following a historic 10-win season and Cheez-It Citrus Bowl victory.
Illinois has already surpassed its highest season ticket total since 2009, with more than 32,000 tickets sold through reseating and deposits. Contributions to the I FUND have also soared — up 51% compared to 2024′s year-end total.
All suites are already sold out for 2025, while limited premium seating options remain in the 77 Club and Colonnades Club. New Colonnades Club members are eligible for 30% off their first season. Fans interested in premium experiences are encouraged to fill out the online interest form as soon as possible.
Student season tickets are also flying, selling at double the pace of last year through the first four months of 2025. Illinois expects to sell out its student allotment for the second straight year. Students can purchase tickets via the official student ticket portal.
Since head coach Bret Bielema’s arrival in 2021, Illinois football has led the nation in attendance growth — increasing by 19,403 fans per game from 2021 to 2024, the highest total jump in the country. That’s a 54.9% increase, ranking ninth nationally by percentage.
The Illini return 18 starters from a squad that finished No. 16 in the final AP Poll. Memorial Stadium will host seven home games, including Big Ten matchups with USC, Ohio State, Rutgers, Maryland, and Northwestern. Nonconference foes Western Illinois and Western Michigan also visit Champaign this fall.
