CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Illini Success initiative has published its annual report on the post-graduation outcomes of the 2022-2023 graduating class. The data highlights the achievements of students who graduated in August 2022, December 2022, and May 2023. The report shows that 65% of graduates’ post-graduation destinations were tracked, with 91% securing employment, further education, or volunteer work within six months of graduation.
Key findings include 78% of Illinois residents staying in-state, and 40% of students who participated in experiential learning opportunities receiving full-time job offers. The average salary for employed graduates was reported at $76,000. The report also highlights the global reach of Illinois graduates, with destinations spanning 49 U.S. states and 25 foreign countries.
