PHILO, IL (ChambanaToday) – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that Lincoln Street (Illinois 130) just north of Washington Street in Philo will close June 3.

The closure is necessary for the Norfolk Southern Railway to replace its crossing and is expected to last one day. A detour will be posted.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered.
