CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Fighting Illini athletics department has announced a special watch party following the women’s basketball team’s New Year’s Eve matchup against Washington. Fans attending the basketball game will have the chance to enjoy the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on video boards at State Farm Center.
The event will kick off with the Illinois women’s basketball game against Washington at noon. Following the game, fans can stick around for the watch party as the Illinois football team takes on South Carolina in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl at 2 p.m.
Schedule of Events:
- 11 a.m. – State Farm Center doors open
- 12 p.m. – Illinois Women’s Basketball vs. Washington
- 1 p.m. – Doors close; no re-entry after this time
- 2 p.m. – Cheez-It Citrus Bowl kicks off (viewed on video boards)

- Free Tickets for Football Season Ticket Holders: Illinois football season ticket holders will receive a complimentary ticket to the women’s basketball game.
- Entrance and Parking: All normal entrances will be open until 1 p.m. Parking will be free for attendees.
