CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Illinois football team has released start times for its first three games of the 2025 season, the Big Ten Conference and its television partners confirmed Thursday. The Fighting Illini will kick off their season at Memorial Stadium and will play two of their first three games in front of national TV audiences.

Announced 2025 Game Times:

  • Friday, Aug. 29: Western Illinois at Illinois – 6:30 p.m. CT on Peacock
  • Saturday, Sept. 6: Illinois at Duke – 11:00 a.m. CT on ABC or ESPN
  • Saturday, Sept. 13: Western Michigan at Illinois – 6:00 p.m. CT on FS1

Start times and broadcast details for the remainder of the season will be announced through the Big Ten’s in-season 6- or 12-day selection process by its media partners.
