CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Illinois men’s basketball team has dropped several spots in the Week 11 AP Top 25, falling from No. 13 to No. 19. This slide comes after a tough week that saw the Illini defeat then-No. 9 Oregon but later lose to an unranked USC squad at home.
The loss to USC marked the second game without key player Kasparas Jakucionis, who has been sidelined due to injury. Despite the setback, Illinois continues to look ahead to a challenging week of road games.
This week, the Illini will head to Bloomington, Indiana, to face off against the Hoosiers before traveling to East Lansing, Michigan, for a showdown with No. 12 Michigan State.
