SPRINGFIELD, IL (Chambana Today) – A lucky Illinois player has become an overnight millionaire, winning $1 million in the Lotto Million 1 drawing. The winning ticket, purchased online, matched all six numbers from Thursday’s drawing: 1, 11, 16, 21, 26, and 44.
The winner has one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. This marks the third Illinois Lottery player to win $1 million or more this year, following a $10.4 million Lotto jackpot win in February and another Lotto Million 1 win on February 17.
In 2025, over 1.6 million winning Lotto tickets have been sold, with prizes totaling more than $18 million. Lotto is an Illinois-only game, drawn three times a week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, with additional opportunities to win $1 million through the Lotto Million 1 and Lotto Million 2 drawings.
