CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Big Ten Conference has announced that Illinois’ road matchup at Purdue on Saturday, October 4 will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and air nationally on Big Ten Network (BTN).
The game marks a key rivalry clash, as #23 Illinois (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) looks to bounce back in conference play and retain The Cannon — the traveling trophy awarded to the winner of the annual matchup with Purdue (2-2, 0-1 Big Ten).
Before heading to West Lafayette, the Fighting Illini will host USC this Saturday at 11 a.m. CT at Gies Memorial Stadium. Purdue, meanwhile, has a bye week to prepare for the Illini.
Other Big Ten action that day includes Wisconsin at Michigan, also kicking off at 11 a.m. CT.
