LOS ANGELES, CA (Chambana Today) — The University of Illinois men’s basketball team continued its impressive season with a dominating 101-65 victory over USC on Wednesday, February 18. The 36-point margin marked the Illini’s largest Big Ten road win in the modern era, and their largest in 80 years.

With seven players scoring in double figures, Illinois became the first team in the conference since at least 2010-11 to achieve such a feat.

Andrej Stojakovic, returning from a two-game absence, led the way with 22 points off the bench. Illinois also shot 44.8% from three-point range, while outrebounding USC 41-30. The Illini improved to 22-5 on the season and 13-3 in Big Ten play, marking their best record in 20 years.
