CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — A timeless tale of love, magic, and redemption will grace the stage of the historic Virginia Theatre this winter as Classical Arts Entertainment presents the world-renowned ballet, Swan Lake, on Tuesday, December 16 at 7 p.m.

Performed by an international cast of ballet stars, this breathtaking production promises a majestic and emotionally stirring experience. Featuring choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, and set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, Swan Lake will come to life with over 200 hand-crafted scenery elements and all-new, hand-painted sets.

The cast includes celebrated dancers from around the globe, including countries such as Ukraine, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Moldova, Turkey, and more—representing the best in classical ballet from 15+ nations.

Audiences will be treated to unforgettable scenes, from the elegant “Dance of the Little Swans” to the powerful 32 fouetté turns in Odile’s climactic solo.

The production is family-friendly and suitable for children ages 3 and up. The ballet will be performed in two acts, with one intermission.
