Jolie Rohall Obituary
Jolie Blon (Regenall) Rohall, 62, of Westville, Illinois, took her last earthly breath on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. She was born October 14, 1961, in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Revis Michael Regenall and Velma Dean (Parker) Regenall.
On September 14, 1985, Jolie married Michael Rohall in Smyrna, Tennessee. He survives. Jolie also leaves behind three daughters, Michelle Ghrist (Kyle), Regina Jones and Tanya Rohall. Also surviving are three granddaughters and a grandson, Emma and Edyn Jones & Felicity and Oliver Ghrist. One sister, Mary Alice Anthony, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jolie is proceeded in death by her parents and one sister, Donna Sue Slayton.
Jolie worked in childcare much of her working life. It was almost second nature that she became motherly to many she met. In the years that Jolie and Michael were raising their daughters, there were a few special friends of their girls that Jolie was an example for and left an impression on. At times, being referred to as an additional parent. These relationships brought joy to Jolie’s life.
Jolie collected “I Love Lucy” paraphernalia, loved to color and most importantly when she was able to, she loved playing with her grandchildren. She loved to tell stories about when she was a young girl and teenager in the Nashville area.
Jolie was a member of the Danville Alliance Church. She enjoyed attending services and took joy in being in fellowship with the body of Christ.
Her memory will live on through her daughters. She will be missed by her friends and family. Donations in lieu of flowers are asked to be made to The Hope Center of Danville or Fair Hope Ministry.
A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois, 414 South State Street, from 4-6pm on Sunday April 7, 2024. A Celebration of Jolie’s life will be held on Monday April 8, 2024, at 10am at the funeral home. Pastor Kenneth Cameron will officiate. The burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
