URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) — Urbana’s public works department shared this week that the westbound lane of West Green Street would be closed between South Busey Avenue and South Coler Avenue from 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 6 to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 7.
Illinois American Water contractors will be working along West Green Street, and access to properties will be maintained during the project. A map of the affected area can be seen below.
This announcement comes in addition to the announcement that East Washington Street would be closed for one block over the same amount of time.
Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through this and all construction areas.
