CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The League of Women Voters of Champaign County and other community organizations hosted a Meet and Greet on Sunday at the Champaign Public Library. All 2024 election candidates were invited to attend and interact with the voting public from 1:30 – 3:30 yesterday. Not all candidates attended, but those who were there set up banners and flyers and spent the afternoon chatting with the public on the pressing issues of Champaign and Vermilion County.

The next League of Women Voters event happens on Saturday, October 5 at the farmer’s market in Urbana. Volunteers will available for voter registration and ask questions about the process.
