CHAMPAIGN, IL (CHAMBANA TODAY)- On April 29th, at 9:09 AM Urbana Police received information that missing teenager, Tiago Zumarraga-Mosquera was located and arrested by NYPD in the Queens borough of New York City. Tiago is currently being held pending criminal charges stemming from an incident that occurred in Queens, NY. Tiago’s Mother was notified by both NYPD, and Urbana PD. It is unknown how Tiago made his way to New York. Any pending questions regarding his arrest may be conducted by contacting NYPD. Urbana PD will not comment in regard to another agency’s criminal investigation.

Crime Stoppers will pay cash rewards of $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in any homicide case, $2,500 for tips leading to an arrest in a felony crime involving a firearm, and up to $1,000 for tips leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for any other crime.
