The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in a mobile home on Apricot Dr., Monday, January 5, at 12:50 a.m. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Firefighters responded to a report of a fully involved mobile home fire. Once on the scene, crews reported heavy smoke and fire showing. Both occupants of the home were outside when the fire department arrived. Firefighters extended multiple hose lines to extinguish this fire.
The cause of this fire has not been determined as investigators remain on scene conducting their investigation. There were no firefighter or occupant injuries reported.
