CHAMPAIGN, IL (CHAMBANA TODAY) – In order to perform routine storm sewer maintenance activities, Hoerr Construction, Inc. will be working on Neil Street between Avondale Avenue and Hessel Boulevard, affecting traffic traveling southbound on Neil Street. Traffic will temporarily be merged into single lanes; no roads will be closed. Work is planned during the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
Please pay close attention to traffic control devices and proceed cautiously through the work zone. You may wish to use alternate routes. The City of Champaign thanks you for your cooperation and patience while this work is being performed.
