CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — Champaign Public Works shared on Friday that Sub 4 Construction will close a portion of Second street between Gregory Drive and Armory Avenue. A map of the affected area can be seen below.
The closure will begin on Tuesday, March 31, and will reopen on Thursday, April 30, weather permitting. Traffic will not be allowed during the closure, but access to local properties will be maintained via Gregory Drive.
Those traveling in the area are encouraged to take caution when traveling through work zones.
