URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – On Saturday, hundreds gathered outside the Champaign County Courthouse to voice their opposition to President Donald Trump’s administration and Elon Musk’s involvement in government policies.The rain and wind didn’t deter the protesters, when the demonstration started around 11 a.m. at the Champaign County Courthouse. Protesters marched for approximately an hour, displaying signs critical of President Trump, Elon Musk, and various administration policies. Many community leaders spoke, including Urbana Mayor Diane Marlin.
This event is part of a broader national movement where citizens across the United States have been organizing demonstrations to express their concerns over government policies and the influence of private individuals like Elon Musk in public administration.
