ASHMORE, IL (Chambana Today) – Big luck struck a tiny town last week when a lucky Illinois Lottery player won $532,504 playing the FastPlay Cash Castle game.
The winning ticket was sold at I & I Deli, located inside the Fast Stop gas station at 304 W. Ashmore Street in Ashmore — a central Illinois town of just about 600 people. For selling the winning ticket, the store will receive a bonus of approximately $5,300.
This marks the third-largest jackpot won in the Cash Castle game since its February 27 launch, following jackpots of $1.4 million in April and $1.3 million in May. So far, the game has awarded more than $29 million in prizes across 361,000 winning tickets statewide.
Cash Castle is a $30 progressive FastPlay game with Illinois’ highest starting jackpot of $100,000. The jackpot increases with every ticket sold until someone wins.
The Illinois Lottery is encouraging the winner to sign the back of their ticket and store it in a safe place before claiming the prize. Details on claiming are available at IllinoisLottery.com/winning.
