SPRINGFIELD, IL (Chambana Today) – American rapper, singer, and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg will take the stage at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on Wednesday, August 13. Snoop Dogg has captivated audiences worldwide with his music, business ventures, and larger-than-life persona.

“We are excited to bring Snoop Dogg back to Springfield and the Illinois State Fair,” said Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II. “We know from past experience that he is a crowd favorite with incredible energy.”

Snoop Dogg’s career has spanned nearly three decades, producing hits such as “Gin & Juice” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” as well as his most recent album Missionary. Beyond music, Snoop is a multifaceted entrepreneur with ventures in Web 3.0, tech, entertainment, cannabis, food, and global consumer brands.

“This show on the Grandstand stage will be one for the ages,” said Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark. “Having been in the spotlight for so long, Snoop Dogg reaches music fans from multiple generations. This is a concert you are not going to want to miss.”

Tickets for the concert will go on sale Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster with prices ranging from $85 for Tier 3 to $165 for the Blue Ribbon Zone. There will also be a $30 Pre-Show Party ticket available as an upgrade for all paid concert tickets.
