CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Public Works Department of the City of Champaign is actively addressing requests for assistance concerning City trees that have been affected and clearing debris from City streets following the wind event on Tuesday, June 25.

For those who have asked, there is no designated pickup service for private tree or storm debris. Residents are encouraged to make use of the Landscape Recycling Center, get in touch with a local arborist, or contact their waste management provider to arrange for the removal of any storm-related debris.
