MONTICELLO, IL (Chambana Today) — Want to grow your gardening skills? The U of I Extension Master Gardeners in DeWitt and Piatt counties will host upcoming programs in the Grow Together series in the coming weeks to help you add some stripes to your gardening skills.
Grow Together is a monthly horticultural education series held from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Township Library at 116 East Oliver Street in Mansfield. Programs are led by trained Extension Master Gardener volunteers.
Container Gardens: April 29
Learn the advantages of gardening in containers and tips for creating a beautiful container garden. Attendees will create a tabletop flower container garden to take home. There is a $10 supply fee for this program.
Pollinator Pocket Gardens: May 13
Attendees will explore native plants that attract pollinators and begin designing a pollinator-friendly pocket garden.
Participants may register for Grow Together programs at go.illinois.edu/MGgrow until one day before each program.
